Lima's Red Hot Chilli

When Lima came home she was really hungry. "Plenty of food in the kitchen but don't eat the red hot chilli!" said her mother. Lima tried different foods but they were just not right. Suddenly she saw the shiny, delicious red chilli and popped it into her mouth. Her face got hotter and hotter and fireworks flew out of her mouth. Mum, dad, aunt and granddad all came to help but her mouth was still too hot. Who can rescue her?

"This story is particularly successful in the way it introduces children to a variety of different foods." Nursery World
