An African Naming Ceromony

Amarlai has a new baby cousin and he can't wait for her to be given a name: a traditional African name will tell people where she comes from and which child she is within the family. Amarlai's family busily prepares for the baby's naming ceromony and, when the great day arrives, the special ceremony takes place with its prayers, blessings, gifts, feasting and celebration. Everyone is happy, but Amarlai is happist of all: his baby cousin now has a name - Dede!
