Weighing the Elephant

In the mountains of southern China, a baby elephant wins the hearts of the villagers. But a greedy Emperor wants the talented beast for himself. Never able to resist a riddle, he declares: "The baby elephant will be taken away in two days unless someone can tell me, the Emperor, how heavy he is."

Villagers, farmers and scholars come up with ideas for weighing the elephant, but nothing works. Then, while watching the reflection of the moon on the water, seven-year-old Hei-dou has an idea!
