Pride fo Black British Women has been produces to provide young people, particularly young black who were born in Britain, with positive images and role models of women who they can relate to, identify with and aspire to emulate.

This book features a collection of brief profiles, focusing on the educational and career achievements of sucessful black women in Britain over a wide range of professions, including doctors, teachers, journalists, entertainers, writers, sportswomen, Members of Parliment and media personalities.
