This is a gentle story about Keisha who has started a new school but misses her old school, her old friends and her old teacher. In fact she is so sad she keeps telling her mum she has a stomach ache so she doesn't have to go to school. Then one day she finds a small doll in the garden. It's a strange shape and has a crack running around it's middle. When Keisha twists the doll, it opens...and she finds another little doll inside! Keisha decides Little Katy and Tiny Katy will come to school with her and be her friends. But on the very first day Keisha takes her dolls to school, she loses them. She's very worried and starts turning the classroom upside down. When her teacher asks her what's wrong, Keisha starts crying and tells the teacher everything. Mrs. Elliott asks all the children to look for the dolls. Soon friendly Alpa has found them. At Bring-and-Share-time, Keisha tells all the children about her Katy dolls and how they are her friends. But as she sees all the children listening to her story, Keisha realises she already has friends at school!
